Welding:

Laser cutting and welding line for gear shafts

The line consists of 3 stations where the gear shafts are being assembled of the following parts: the sleeve, the finger and the stiffening ring.



             

The advance, the positioning and the joining is automatic with the assistance of a camerasystem. The final product is a component of the "BMW-Rover-Mini".


Steps:

  • Measuring of the reference point and succeeding laser cutting.
  • Welding of the 2 gear shift fingers.
  • Correct inserting of the shaft and the stiffening ring, together with the welding of the components.
